We're looking for talented, motivated candidates to join our production department in a client services manager capacity.
This is an on-site position in sunny San Diego!
Qualifications:
- Comfortable interacting with clients.
- Experience explaining technical details in layman’s terms.
- The ability to multitask, overseeing staff’s progress on several projects while completing own assignments as well
- Advanced understanding of both HTML and CSS.
- Working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript preferred.
- Working knowledge of DOM tree and JavaScript interaction preferred.
- Applied understanding of best practices for web programming
- Knowledge of cross-browser limitations
- 1+ years experience developing commercial web sites in a professional, team-oriented environment
- Understanding of content management systems’ (CMS) capabilities, and experience working with them preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong quality assurance (QA) skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Strong design aesthetic is a plus
Responsibilities:
As the client service manager, you will:
- Interact with clients on a daily basis via email and telephone to give status updates and answer questions.
- Distribute assignments, balance workload, and monitor progress of assignments within Production department
- Coordinate with other department managers on assignments that require advanced coding or clarification.
- Perform quality assurance tests on team’s completed tasks before sending to the client to review.
- Upload files to clients’ sites via FTP.
- Work on multiple, concurrent tasks requiring stringent attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
