Flash/Motion Designer
Progressive digital office, located in the heart of modern downtown Ann Arbor, looking to add a Flash/Motion Designer to its creative and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is someone with the right mix of a designer’s eye and technical skills. The candidate will have a deep understanding of Flash as a creative tool, and the value that their jaw-dropping, eye-popping motion effects will bring to our client work.
Skill Sets
• Currently knowledgeable with web 2.0 concepts and digital trends
• Able to guide the development of ideas in the brainstorming phase
• Can manage a flash project from conception to execution
• Ability to create innovative animated work under the direction of a Creative Director.
• Work with a team of designers, producers and programmers to ensure an integrated experience for the end user.
• Ability to follow creative direction as well as work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Conceptualize, design and produce Flash elements within a wide variety of media
•Experienced with Digital editing in Final Cut , Motion and Live Type
• Experienced with Flash in both hands-on design and development
• Familiarity with database-driven navigation systems for Flash
• Self-motivator in keeping current with all Flash and Motion related tools
Attributes
• 2+ years of Flash design experience
• 2+ years of Motion/Digital video editing experience
• Proven ActionScript 3 experience
• Proficient with Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks
• Ability to integrate Flash with databases
• Easily work within standards compliant HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of Flex a plus
• Ability to work within project schedules and deadlines
• Quick to learn new technology and skills
• Ability to problem solve and think critically
• Can work productively in a creative team environment
• Brings fresh thinking to existing projects
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple planned and unplanned projects
