The candidate we’re looking for has a broad range stylistically, superlative skills, a passion for visual communication and an interest in web-based applications. The position entails work on a variety of projects including interface screens, web-page designs for variety of client sites, design of our story template backgrounds, and a range of marketing collateral.
Requirements/skills/focus:
- 3-4 years experience (web, print mix is fine)
- strong online portfolio (though we’ll want to review a hard copy version as well)
- broad range stylistically
- Photoshop expert level
- InDesign, Flash and Illustrator proficiency
- able multi-tasker
In the plus department:
- knowledge of XHTML/CSS
- experience designing icons
Responsibilities:
- skin design for UI components
- design marketing collateral for partner ventures (web pages and printed collateral)
- template designs for a variety of events and interests
- working within a small team and independently to ensure a high quality of design, production and implementation
