The Lead User Interface Developer is a key member of the Self-Service GUI team, focusing on the design and development of web application user interfaces for new and existing features within our products, as well as new products.
This person will utilize their coding and design expertise to develop robust web-client user interfaces which integrate with various server-side components and back-end systems.
As a member of the development team you will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including functional definition, UI design and development, and usability testing.
The ideal individual will have experience developing browser user interfaces and well rounded technical experience with ASP web application development.
This person will work with the Application and System Developers to integrate the user interface with the business workflows, components and back-end systems.
Additionally, you work closely with our Product Management, Architecture and QA team members to meet the functional needs of our customers.
The Lead UI Developer will be responsible for the user interfaces across our enterprise applications from concept to completion. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who has a strong attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills and is highly capable of exploring new methods for visualizing business results and maximizing the user experience.
8+ years experience developing commercial-quality web applications
Strong human-computer interface (HCI) and user-centered design skills
Strong knowledge of usability best practices
Demonstrated experience designing and developing web-based interfaces for complex systems
Proficient in ASP and VISTA development, Visual Studio, HTML / XHTML, CSS, and Javascript
Web development supporting multiple browsers, especially Firefox and IE.
Experience with supporting multiple languages and internationalization
C# / ASP.NET 2.0 / Ajax are a MUST
