[212]MEDIA is looking for a talented and experienced Print Designer to join our New York offices. The position can be a regular part-time or freelance arrangement if necessary, but full-time and in-house is highly preferred.
As a key member of the creative team, you will be responsible for virtually all the print and layout work for various promotional campaigns, company collateral, and advertising. In particular, you will be heading up the ever-growing promotional needs of our Bollywood content company, so if you have an interest or passion for Bollywood that's a big plus (but not required). Most of all, you must have a great eye for typography and layout and be well versed in the ins and outs of designing for print (both small and large scale), and of course be smart, eager, and pleasant to work with.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional experience
• *Expert* knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign or Quark
• Ability to translate concepts and promotions into effective designs, often with limited photography or visual resources
• Interest, experience, and/or passion for Bollywood or other Southeast Asian / Indian content is a plus, but not required.
