We are a small but growing web development firm located in Grass Valley, California. We partner with some of the coolest web & marketing firms in Northern California to build modern websites for a huge variety of clients. From desktop apps to web 2.0 social networks, we build it all.
You are a highly skilled web developer -- specifically an expert in PHP/MySQL, Javascript, CSS/XHTML and can provide a number of code samples in those languages. You can build a web application from the group up using those technologies without any hand-holding. You also might have experience with Ruby on Rails, ColdFusion and Java -- these aren't a must but they also are a huge advantage. Experience with MVC frameworks like CakePHP or content management systems like TextPattern and/or Joomla are a plus.
You should be able to build a solution the right way. A strong grasp of object-oriented programming and web application architecture is huge. Anyone can hammer out PHP code but you know how to build something the right way.
You're also a good communicator and can instruct and delegate work to a Junior Developer. You enjoy working closely with a team and clients to build solutions and can effectively manage the technical aspects of a project. You are looking for a fun, laid-back environment to do what you do best and get paid for it.
You ideally like sushi and coffee (but not at the same time).
This position requires you to work on site in our office.
