Synopsis: Programmer responsible for Layer 5+ and Server/Client side programming with strong focus on product presentation, authentication (user identity), credit card processing, remote management and configuration, database design.
Requirements:
• 5+ yrs. development experience under Linux in Server side programming – Perl, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML. Experience with J2EE and Java based application server a plus.
• Prior experience in using web technologies on datacom equipment for configuration and monitoring tools would be a plus.
• Experience with database design and programming.
• Experience working/customizing open source packages to create product(s).
• Experience with internet based payment processing systems a plus.
Good to have
• Knowledge of SNMP, RADIUS.
• Knowledge of programming concepts like Sockets, IPC, networking concepts – network layers, protocols – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Technologies – VLAN, VPN.
