We are a aggressively growing company and immediately require a multi-talented and skilled PHP developer.
We require strong experience with scalable applications and work with simultaneous projects. You will be responsible for building both the front-end interfaces, the back-end processes and interaction with 3rd party applications and database design.
You should enjoy conquering challenges and problems and deal with a rapid development environment.
Proficiency in English is a must
To succeed in this role you must have the following skill sets:
You must have deep knowledge in the following and proven experience in developing commercial-grade php applications:
- Strong understanding of OOP and experience coding object/classes. Will need to provide sample code of past work.
- Use of frameworks like cakePHP
- Relational database design and strong SQL skills (ideally MySQL)
- Experience with Linux or Unix-like OS (ie. BSD), familiar with filesystem and basic sysadmin tasks
- Web 2.0 experience such as Javascript, particularly JQuery, AJAX, XML, etc.
- Manage Subversion (SVN)
Highly desired skills:
- Apache, mod_rewrite
- Test-driven Development
- PEAR
- Templating systems such as SMARTY
- Systems administration knowledge/experience
- Flash
